Everyone in this world would be having their inspirations and idols at different stages of life. Here i am writing about my idols and inspirations one by one. Someshwara Swamy Temple, Khandugadahalli – The Place That Changed My Views

Khandugadahalli and the Someshwara Swamy Temple – A Personal Journey Khandugadahalli is a small village, about 7 km from Kadur taluk in Chikkamagaluru district . The village is home to the Someshwara Swamy Temple , a place that holds a special connection with my ancestors. Though I don’t know much about the temple’s history, I’ve always known that my forefathers found something unique here, and their devotion continued for generations. Growing up in Mysore , I never felt strongly attached to either this temple or my native place, Kadur. I would visit the temple occasionally with my parents and relatives, but it never went beyond a ritual for me. I wasn’t much of a believer in God (and to be honest, I still don’t consider myself deeply religious), but over time, something about this temple began to draw me in. There’s a Kannada proverb – “ Sankata bandaga Venkataramana ” – which means we remember God only in times of trouble . That line describes me perfectly. I had always believe...
